Information on the acceptance of applications for LLG (changes as of 15 September)

The submission of such applications is monitored by an order of the Minister of the Interior, which instructs the Migration Department to assess by the 15th day of each month whether the number of applications for a temporary residence permit and a national visa submitted through an external service provider does not exceed the number of clients to be served by that unit in the next four months.

If the said number is exceeded, the acceptance of applications shall be suspended.

What are non-priority requests?

Applications where foreigners apply for a temporary residence permit or a visa on the grounds of employment, seasonal work, improvement of qualifications, missions, traineeships, practice, participation of enterprises, religious, sporting activities and other grounds shall be considered as non-priority.

What are priority requests?

Priority shall be given to applications where foreigners apply for temporary residence permits on the basis of studies, family reunification, investment, scientific activities and research, intra-corporate transfers or highly qualified qualifications.
